This guideline addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just just before Thotar provides you with a taming Rod for a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of three taming rods, every one is different and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Get More Info Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Element of the Quest chain, you have got to head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot while in the Valley of Honor in order to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Lastly, do not forget to go to the Pet Trainer and get the Pet abilities that you will have to give to your companion pet.
